It provides protection for both Franchisees and Franchisors and has helped weed out many unprofessional franchises that existed in the past. United is a member of the Franchise Council of Australia and is committed to ensuring that our system complies with the best practice initiatives promoted and policed by this organization. Question: Do I need any specific cleaning industry or previous franchising experience? The short answer to this question is simply no, however you need the right character and attitude. With our established training programme and simple business system, the United Home Services franchises are easy to become proficient at. We feel confident that we can train anyone to become a good cleaner; what we can't do is give you the right attitude. We can't teach you to be honest if you're not and we can’t teach you to be a hard worker if you're not. That's why we are so careful about who we take on. Question: Does United Home Services offer income guarantees? We boast that we are the "Best Backed, Lowest Risk Franchise in Australia." Besides the in-depth sales and marketing training as well as the numerous regional leads provided; we offer newly opened franchisees our Work Availability Guarantee (WAG). This programme is to assist new partners during their startup phase. It is a programme that guarantees franchisees that they will receive a pre-determined income while they are getting organized and beyond the learning curve. Though most franchisees find this very helpful during the very beginning of operations, most quickly forget the initial WAG as their businesses are successfully over performing these initial levels. Question: How Much Money can I Make? How much money you make really depends on you and how much you are willing to work. Home Services, whether it be Cleaning, Gardening, Carpet Cleaning or Ironing, is really about the provision of skilled labour. But working more hours is not the only way to make money out of this business. As your business grows the opportunity to employ your own team becomes a real option, and when you start to do this you start to duplicate your time. Question: How Much Money do I need to Get Started? This will depend on the service you are interested in, the territory you buy, and the income level you want to achieve. The normal range in estimated anywhere from $10k to $35k. Question: Are there any Ongoing Fees? Yes. At United you pay one "EASY" flat, ongoing fee and NOT a percentage of Turnover.
