Gardening – Ballarat

Hi, I’m Scott Taylor of United Home Services Gardening Ballarat North. I love my job and I am excited about helping my customers with their gardens needs.

People often ask me when the best time is to do certain tasks, so I have given you a short list below.

  • Lawn Mowing (all year round but best time is August to May during growing seasons)
  • Weeding (all year round but preferably during winter to prepare for spring)
  • Hedge, Shrub and Tree Pruning (all year)
  • Rose Pruning (June / July)
  • Landscaping (all year but best time from April through to September)
  • Rubbish Removal (all year)
  • Gutter Cleaning (all year with emphasis May through to August to remove Autumn leaves and prepare for Spring rains)
  • Mulching (April through to October to prepare for Summer period)

    • I mainly service Ballarat, but I also look after the surrounding suburbs including Buninyong, Creswick, Miners Rest and Warrenheip.
